The Mayors for Peace 2020 Vision Campaign Association has appointed Mr. Jorge Núñez Alba as a 2020 Vision Campaigner in Mexico and Mr. Samil Yaciner as a 2020 Vision Campaigner in Turkey. The main responsibility of the 2020 Vision Campaigners is the promotion of the 2020 Vision Campaign in their respective countries. The 2020 vision campaigners will also carry out activities to establish and enhance the cooperation with the mayors of cities in Mexico and Turkey so that those countries can become more and more deeply involved in international efforts to protect cities from the scourge of war, most notably nuclear war.
