We would like to extend our gratitude to all the cities who generously contributed to the 2020 Vision Campaign in January and February this year. We have had an excellent start to the year, receiving a total of € 23.512 over the two months; € 9.053 in January, and € 14.460 in February.
Over half of this money has come from our members in Belgium; undoubtedly, the invaluable assistance of the city of Ypres has been vital to this success. Cities in Switzerland and Italy also contributed a significant proportion. We would also like to specially thank the cities of Boechout, Belgium, and Quistello, Italy, for pledging to make annual donations until 2020.
This financial support clearly demonstrates the commitment of cities around the world to our vision of a world free of nuclear weapons, and the funds donated will play a crucial role in helping us to make this vision a reality. We can only hope that this positive trend continues during the months to come.
