Please mail us your CV before the end of September 2008 if you are interested.

Are you looking for an intercultural experience? Or do you know somebody who might be interested in working for a campaign to ban all nuclear weapons? Transport, food and accomodation are provided, as well as pocket-money.

Today two EVS-volunteers are working with us in the international secretariat. Jaira Valenzuela Toledo (Spain) and Jennie Corbett (Ireland) are a great support for our daily work.

"I've found my time working with the 2020 Vision Campaign as an EVS volunteeer extremely rewarding, both as an intercultural experience and as a way to gain a real insight into the world of international campaigning and nuclear disarmament.  It has been a great way to integrate into the local Flemish community as well as to do some meaningful work."  - Jennie Corbett

The international office for the Mayors for Peace "2020 Vision Campaign" was set up on July 2006 in the City Hall of Ypres. The Mayor and the City Council of Ypres donated the office space to complement the Mayors for Peace network which has its international secretariat in Hiroshima. The secretariat in Hiroshima is dealing with the administration of the network and the organisation of the international Mayors for Peace conferences. The newly established Mayors for Peace campaign office in Ypres is dealing with the 2020 Vision Campaign in close co-operation with local authorities and other actors such as NGO's and influential individuals.
